This picture isn’t from the beach yesterday. I (gasp) didn’t take my camera. Sometimes, I choose to live in the moment, instead of living in the viewfinder. And it was wonderful. This image is from a trip to the beach in December, the water was really too cold for swimming, but not too cold for splashing.
And no, it’s not technically the best photo I’ve ever taken. But it captures my children, as they were, caught up in the wonder of the water. And it’s a memory I want to keep. And that, in my eyes, makes it the perfect photo. And I thought it would be nice to share this tranquil moment with all of you.
Yesterday was more about exploration and swimming, as the water is now perfect for swimming and splashing. And sandcastles, and making new friends on the beach. Ah I love spring break!

What a breathtaking moment! I think that the photos that are not technically correct captures the true essence of the moment
Love it!

Beautiful capture. Sometimes the best photos are those that are not planned.
